IMPORTANT: Security stickers!
Dear Members,
The Security Team is currently checking for valid 2025–2026 red decals on all moving vehicles and watercraft. The office is up to date with decal distribution. If you have not yet received your decals, ensure you have both paid your dues and submitted a completed Security Form for 2025. Please note that a new Security Form must be submitted each year to receive decals for all vehicles and watercraft. Boat titles are required for any newly registered watercraft. This process helps us keep association records current and provides visual confirmation to Security and fellow members that a vehicle or watercraft belongs to a bonafide member in good standing. Member numbers should also be clearly displayed on ATVs, side-by-sides (SXS), golf carts, and boat trailers. Staff are authorized to ask individuals who are not in compliance to leave Association property, including the lake. We kindly ask that you treat all staff members with respect as they work to maintain the privacy and safety of our community. To simplify the process, there is an electronic version of the Security Form. You can fill it out and submit here. Thank you for your attention and cooperation. Here are guidelines for applying your stickers. Don't forget to put numbers on your boat trailers too, especially if you are putting them in the storage yard. New board meeting day, time
If you would like to join a PVPOA board meeting, the monthy time has changed to 3rd Monday, 6:30 pm, Lodge. This is a tentative change to see if more board members are able to attend consistently. Next meeting is July 21.
Boat and boat trailer storage reminder and noticeThe Boat and Boat Trailer Storage Lot is NOT for member's long-term storage of cars, campers, non-boat trailers and containers. The planned expansion of the area is underway, so more space will soon be available for member use during the 2025 summer months.
All boats and trailers stored at the lot must have current registration and lot number clearly visible, or you may be fined. Help is available if you require assistance. Contact the office. |
We can all help with security –
SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING: Marie says people can contact her for concerns until 10 pm, 573-421-7470. After 10 pm, call the sheriff’s office: If you need an officer for non-emergency police matters call 573-437-7770; for emergencies dial 911. Email [email protected] REMINDER: The speed limit is 20 mph on all PV roads, especially while hauling a trailer. Recent damage and near misses have been caused by neglecting caution -- and also driving under the influence. Be aware that anyone can call the police for civil infractions, even at the lake.

If you would like weather alerts, including severe storm warnings and spring-season tornadoes: 1. Get local alerts for the Owensville area, Gasconade County, HERE. You can also go to the county Emergency Management Agency FaceBook and register to get notified via phone or text. You will have to log in and access “my account” HERE 2. You can download the FEMA app for personalized weather alerts and resources from Google Play and the Apple Store. It is a free service you can customize to your location. 3. You can also activate Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) on your cell phone in SETTINGS. These FEMA alerts are sent to your mobile device wherever you may be in harm’s way, without the need to download an app or subscribe to a service. WEAs do not track your location. They are broadcast from area cell towers to mobile phones within the defined geographic location of the alert. Opt in for paperless billing, PWSD
If you would like to save paper and postage for your quarterly water and sewer bill, fill out the form at this link to make it happen! Reminders on Community Rules:
Dogs must be either leashed or fenced according to the community rule book. There are documented recent instances of loose, unaccompanied dogs attacking other pets and people. Refer to new rules regarding penalties. Homeowners are responsible for your visitors who bring aggressive dogs. The beach is for people beach stuff: no dogs (ever); and no fishing. Both incursions are a danger to little bare feet. -- Plan for Oktober Fest Sept 27, '25!
