StoryWalkOwensville ™ Updated
Froggy Gets Dressed, by Jonathan London, is the new path of enlightenment. The StoryWalk™ consists of 16 signs along a one-mile walking trail. Each sign contains a page from the featured children’s book. The project is a partnership between the Owensville Friends of the Library, Owensville Parks & Recreation Department, and Scenic Regional Library. The Owensville Friends of the Library and Owensville Parks & Recreation Department shared the project’s cost. Scenic Regional Library will provide a new book for the StoryWalk™ each quarter. The StoryWalk™ promotes early literacy, physical activity, and family time together in nature. It’s a fun and educational way to enjoy successive pages from a children’s story along the path.
